How to Install ghc software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

ghc software package provides The Glasgow Haskell Compilation system, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ghc

ghc is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ghc package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ghc *

You will get with ghc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
